Session 1 - Baseline & Ball Striking

Most golfers don't actually know why the ball does what it does.

They have theories. They have feels. But they've never seen the actual numbers — impact location, attack angle, club path, carry distance — that explain every shot they hit.

Session 1 changes that.

This is your baseline. No swing fixes. No pressure. Just honest data on what's actually happening at impact.

What You'll Work On

Session 1 is built around the GreenBays three-part framework - Technique, Skills, Competition - applied to ball striking fundamentals.

Warm Up (0-5 min)

Mode: TrackMan Range

Club: 8-iron

Hit 6-8 relaxed shots. No swing thoughts. No targets.

Glance at carry distance and launch height. This is about starting honest, not impressive.

Technique — Impact & Low Point Awareness (5-25 min)

Mode: Performance Studio - Shot Analysis

Club: 8-iron

Hit sets of 3 shots and check:

Step away between sets. One feel adjustment only.

What you're learning: whether your miss is a contact problem or a direction problem. Most golfers don't know the difference. TrackMan shows you instantly.

Key rules: no targets, one feel only, ignore ball flight. Ball flight reacts. Impact causes.

Skills — Distance Control Foundations (25-50 min)

Mode: TrackMan Range or Target Practice

Club: Pitching Wedge

Choose three distances: 70 / 90 / 110m

Hit 8 balls per distance. Same swing, different length.

Track carry consistency & dispersion (spread)

Success here isn't perfect strikes. It's repeatable carries.

Competition — Short Iron Scoring (50-60 min)

Mode: Performance Centre - Short Iron Approaches

Changing green sizes. 8-10 shots total.

Watch: Proximity to hole and Shots Gained.

Session Takeaway

"I finally know why my ball does what it does."

That's the shift Session 1 is designed to create. Not a fixed swing - an informed golfer. Ready to Book Session 1? The bays are open 24/7. Your baseline is waiting.
